Mid-week Frenzy

Since copilot Em arrived, there has been much shuffling of belongings, many celebratory toasts, and quite a few fun activities.

We have embarked on a hit parade of our old favorite places (Pambiche, Country Bill's, The Morrison Hotel).

We split town for a whole day to visit Cape Disappointment in Ilwaco.  For that journey we took along MG, MR, and a dog, and played in the surf and on hiking trails.

We also bid farewell to my beloved car, Sexy Sadie, and picked up the White Whale from Olympia. It's now time to commence ridding my apartment of unnecessary baggage, such as the giant wraparound couch, and get to cleaning.

It's now T minus 4 days until departure. Things are going well, if bittersweet.
